Germany's independent competition authority has approved the creation of a Rheinmetall-OHB joint venture to bid on a military satellite communications contract.
The Federal Cartel Office (Bundeskartellamt), Germany's independent competition authority, has approved a new joint venture between Rheinmetall and OHB.
In a 16 April announcement, the Bundeskartellamt explained that the new subsidiary will be used to bid for a German armed forces public procurement contract.
