Italy has successfully completed a suborbital demonstration of its Aviolancio air-launched rocket using a T4i HAX25 sounding rocket.
An Italian consortium has successfully completed a suborbital demonstration of an air-launched rocket system.
The project, which utilised a Dornier Alpha Jet aircraft and T4i's HAX25 sounding rocket equipped with avionics supplied by GMV, was initiated to support Italy's push to develop a more responsive launch capability.
